Thoth Deck Tarot: CHOKMA & THE FOUR --TWOS

Some of you may understand that Chokma  (Wisdom) is the #2 Sephiroth on the Tree of life. You may also understand that Chokma is attributed to Male force, even though "he" has the potential to radiate the "pure  female". as it is an unbroken flow to Binah (:understanding) who has the potential of the creation of all life-forms.  To understand there is no more a division of male-female than there is in time-space, will greatly heed your understanding of your self!
From the ordinary point of view, Chokma is really #1 rather than #2, because he is the first manifestation; Kether (Crown) is completely sealed, unseen, because limitless light, is unsee able. Nobody knows anything about it at all, even the Quantum Physicists that call Kether, Dark Energy., know nothing about dark energy.  It's kind of like the foot print in the Jello that tells you there is an unseen "elephant in the fridge"..(Old joke:-----" How do you tell if an elephant is in your refrigerator?" Answer: "By the Foot Prints in the Jello!">)..
In reality, only upon reaching the Two, does an element appear as itself. Since, Chokma is completely uncontaminated by influence; the elements appear here in their original harmonious condition.

The Two of Wands:
Is called the Lord of Dominion which represents the element of Fire in its highest Form( First manifestation of Spirit as a"pure motion" before movement was established "as alive". What may interest you is that the word Lord, is old English and means Husbandry. Husband of the Domain or realm, is another way to say "Lord of Dominion". Again we have a Hermetic Marriage, Husband and Wife, is a misunderstanding, rather, Husband-Wife, is the showing of Wisdom! There is flow established in the Two; from 1 to the other 1= 2.

The Two of Cups:
Is the Lord of Love, or Husbandry of Love. Thus, two of cups is preforming the same office for Water as the two of Wands is playing for fire, "
To understand that when He is Created She is created, may be seen by the unbroken equal paths connecting Kether to  Chokma and Binah=== and the  Chokma -Binah path that is called the Empress Card.
Understanding the Twos,,kind of gives you that annoying brain buzz, that comes from understanding paradox. But  like a Taoist Koan, I find this a worthy investment of "buzz"!

The Two of Swords:

Was formerly called the Lord of Peace Restored, Crowley rightly thought this to be an inapt description of the Card. Hence, the Thoth Deck 2 of Swords is called The Lord of Peace. Which is also called Harpocrates, God of Silence, You may find yourself thinking hard to work this out, since Swords are known as intensely active force.  However, Harpocrates (God of Silence), as shown by sound tradition- scholarly authority, is called " The Lord of Defense and Protection", so his nature is not that of a passive and negative silence which the word Peace may denote. Rather, The Lord of Peace, is the all wandering Spirit, the Pure and Perfect Knight-Errant. who answers all Enigmas, and opens the closed portal of the Kings Daughter. Peace/Silence is the Equilibrium of Perfection; so that Lord of Peace(Harpocrates) is the omni form, Universal Key to every mystery whatsoever!
The Fourth Power of the Sphinx is Silence.  The Sphinx is the "puzzel", the Feminine Idea to which there is only one compliment, always different in form, always identical in essence.. Thus, the Two of Swords, Peace, is a card of "True Will". Spirit is Will, which is silence, unheard, but every moving, ever present and perfectly elastic; It's sublimely Protean as it fills every interstice of the Universe of Manifestation which it meets in its course. We see the Blue Rose of Feminine Wisdom, laying a cross two equal and opposite swords. The Lord of Peace, requires diligent meditation in order to further the understanding of the Powerful Silence that is Peace.

     The Two of Disks, Change:

The Lord of Change, was anciently known as the "Lord of Harmonious Change", yet the simple meaning of Change has become its name of modern choice.
The Suit of Disks, being associated with the realm of Earth, connects the Two of Disks to the Princesses who rule the Earth from the Throne of Mother, and therefore the final He' of Tetragrammaton.
Spirit's throne is Earth, and having gotten to the bottom, one immediately comes out at the top! (As above, so below) This is shown by the card as Oroboros, the Serpent that eats its own tail. The Circle Twisted into Two (Male and Female are the same essence, but different in form), who are really one thus the magick equation of 2=0. Change is the Universal Constant. Too move is to change location.  To percieve is to look outward, to understand perception is to look inward,  Yin Yang, is not Yin and Yang.  Female and male, in its proper form, is female male. We are all androgyny, There never was or will be a "battle of the Sexes" , that is only seen from a perspective of Fear broght on by the "divide and conquer" doctrine of our Society..  Love and True Will, is properly spoken as  Love is True Will. The Silent Orgasm, that never stops. Yet it is Silent only to those who "seek will", rather than those who Know for knowing, has the ears to hear the Passionate Rhythm of Creation. To seek to hear, is to deny you have ears to hear.  Change is the First Motion that we call Transformation.
As you may have understood by now, the metaphysics (Gnosis) being the Two's requires some study, meditation and silence.
Thank you for your interest and comments. May you live long and prosper!
