The Witches Tarot Card- Three of Cups, illustrates a scene of a coven's celebration known as a Sabat. Three woman, three cups, and three towering Foxglove plants, seems to be in sync with the Trinity of Goddess; Maid, Mother and Crone.
The element of Water is the alchemical element of this card, and this knowledge is reinforced by the waterfall and lake.
Each woman is wearing a colorful dress, with magic symbols upon them. Each is holding a silver "Moon Cup" while standing mid an abundance of flowers.
The Tall rose-purple foxgloves represent faerie magic and protection.
The blue irises represent whispered magical messages and communication between the coven members.
The pansies are know as heart's ease. Implying they are thinking kindly of each other.
The violets, imply they are receiving blessings from the Goddess and faeries.
The pink roses, imply friendship both real and lasting.
Therefore, this card is about abundance as well. Abundant blessings, friendship, kindness, and communication.
Those who have been following this blog know by now that Binah the 3rd Sephira on the Tree of Life, is "Will to Form", and the intelligent force that makes imagination a womb, i.e., The Creatrix. She is the Creative Will/Womb of all forms, not the architect
itself for that is reserved to the action of Chesed the sphere of Mercy.
Again the sexing of forces is limiting and short on insight. Chesed may be Masculine in its expression of force, and yet it is feminine as it receives the Will of to Form of Binah. So the Real Womb of manifestation, is the combination of the Two. In Qabalah, sex is decided by action. Being receptive is a feminine act and being expressive is a masculine act. So the "sexes" of the Sephiroth change when they are passive or active.
What may surprise you, is that none of us are the sex of our bodies. We are Androgynous, in that we are both receptive (female) and expressive (male); both magnetic (female) and electric (male). Our Real Being the Electromagnetic Psyche that we call the Aura, is from the Foundation of Life known as Yesod and/or "The Astral". The Qabalistic Tree of Life, shows that we have great multidimensional power, "to be or not to be".
The human body is one manifested tool, powered by the Electromagnetic Psyche that you are (Soul). As a power tool, the human body is excelled, but as it's operator, you are beyond the time-space of bodies. Hence, You are obviously a "Will to Be" which is very much a "Will to Form", and the answer to the "I Will Be" of Kether. So here is a kicker, YOU ARE THE IMAGINATION (I-magi-nation) ...you don't have it, for it is not an egoistic possession of the animal brain.
It helps to remember, Hu is Mandarin for God and Man is from the Hindu word for mind---Mannas. Thus you are called a God Mind ! The body is not described in the world human. So you are a Hu-Man or God-Mind, who owns a sensual body, designed for the purpose of concentrated Self-Awareness.
Image-maker, is what the Imagination means, and that dear soul, is The Divine Creative's Powerful creative mind. So get off of your suffering identity that has been kicked hard by dogmatic definition and stand up and Yell-----I AM Me! And get on with you, for self- impeccability is what you came to do! Remember, what we command in this Universe is our own image and what we expect is what makes our life. Take charge of yourself and stop blaming environment, or person or thing, sure they may influence, but they only have the power you give them. What you are is up to your Passionate use of Imagination!
is also called the Lord of Abundance. Here Mercury is in Cancer, The Angels of the Decan Rachael and Yehomayah.
The Three of Cups, signifies the influence of Binah in Briah, the mental World.
Cancer is a water sign, and is under the command of the Moon. Thus we have Cardinal Water, i.e. Consciousness. Thus, The Three of Cups is perfect affinity with 3rd Sephiroth-Binah, who is "Will to Form" and known in English as "Understanding".
The rushing water, swift and extravagant as it overflows the Pomegranate cups, represents the silvery and sparkling gifts of Mercury and/or abundant communication. The Water arises from a single cup which denotes the "dark calm Sea of Binah" a characteristic of the Unconscious from which all consciousness springs. She is also seen as Persephone, the goddess of Spring, to whom the Pomegranate is sacred. With the Plenty of Persephone, this card represents plenty, hospitality, and abundance.
